Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for patients and visitors in accordance with facility protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Follow all infection control procedures and safety regulations strictly.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Certification required.
- Valid state-issued Nursing Assistant license.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
