Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws and specimen collection in-clinic with precision and patient care
- Process and analyze lab samples using remote digital tools
- Update patient records via secure remote portals
- Coordinate with lab teams for specimen logistics
- Conduct virtual pre-screening appointments
- Maintain HIPAA compliance for all remote documentation
- Train on hybrid phlebotomy protocols
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or equivalent)
- 1+ years clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency with telehealth software (Zoom, Epic)
- Strong written communication for remote documentation
- Valid Texas phlebotomy license
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Basic knowledge of lab information systems (LIS)
