Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment for procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce aseptic techniques
- Document surgical procedures and inventory management remotely
- Coordinate with surgical teams via telehealth platforms
- Participate in virtual training and continuing education
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and JCAHO standards
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience
- Experience with telehealth platforms preferred
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
- Flexibility for on-site OR rotations (3 days/week)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
