Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures with sterile technique maintenance and instrument preparation
- Coordinate remote case scheduling and documentation via our digital health platform
- Manage sterile processing and inventory control systems
- Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff during complex procedures
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems remotely for pre/post-op documentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and AORN standards in all aspects
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms
- Ability to work independently in remote settings while maintaining accountability
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing and surgical instrumentation
- Exceptional communication skills for hybrid team coordination
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Flexibility to work on-site for surgical procedures (approx. 60% of time)
