Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and surgical instruments for complex procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations with instrument passing and wound management
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to OSHA protocols
- Document surgical cases accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize surgical workflows
- Train remotely on new surgical technologies and techniques
- Conduct equipment sterilization and inventory management
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credential
- Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to travel to Glendale facilities as needed
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with minimally invasive surgical procedures preferred
