Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients in ICU settings with advanced monitoring and intervention skills
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assess patient conditions, respond rapidly to changes, and stabilize emergent situations
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific safety standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California or compact state
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience in acute care setting
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN considered with relevant experience)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to adapt to new environments and protocols
