Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings (ICU/ER/MedSurg)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals per protocols
- Document patient records accurately in EMR systems
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning
- Adhere to JCAHO and hospital-specific safety standards
- Participate in shift handoffs and care coordination
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP for specialties)
- Proficiency in Epic or Cerner EMR systems
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights/weekends)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- COVID-19 vaccination required (with religious/medical exemptions)
