Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone and video-based assessments to evaluate patient symptoms and medical history.
- Utilize clinical judgment to determine the appropriate level of care, including recommending urgent care, emergency services, or home management.
- Document patient interactions accurately and promptly within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient education and health coaching to promote wellness and self-management.
- Identify potential health risks and escalate critical cases according to established protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in a primary care, urgent care, or triage setting.
- Strong proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, AthenaHealth).
- Excellent communication and active listening skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick, sound clinical decisions under pressure.
- High-speed internet and a dedicated, quiet workspace are required for remote operations.
