Responsibilities
- Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies with 95%+ accuracy
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits before service delivery
- Manage denial resolution and appeals process efficiently
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific regulations
- Conduct regular audits of billing records and documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Generate monthly financial reports for revenue cycle analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
