Responsibilities
- Accurately process and verify prescription orders via our secure digital platform
- Provide telepharmacy consultations to patients regarding medication usage and side effects
- Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) and inventory management systems
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers for optimal patient outcomes
- Ensure strict HIPAA compliance in all virtual interactions and data handling
- Conduct medication reconciliation and counseling via video/phone consultations
- Monitor prescription refill requests and coordinate with insurance providers
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience with telehealth or remote work exposure
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1) and EHR systems
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Strong attention to detail with prescription verification and documentation
