Responsibilities
- Accurately process prescription orders and verify insurance coverage via our remote pharmacy management system
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and patients to resolve medication inquiries and refill requests
- Prepare and dispense medications following all regulatory protocols (NAPRA/Pharmacy Board)
- Maintain electronic health records with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Conduct virtual medication therapy reviews for complex cases
- Train on new pharmacy technologies and automation systems
- Support inventory management and controlled substance tracking remotely
Qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail or hospital pharmacy setting
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Exceptional attention to detail and error-prevention skills
- Strong written communication for patient interactions
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
- Ability to travel to Dallas location quarterly for in-person training
- Basic knowledge of sterile compounding (preferred)
