Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments, vitals monitoring, and triage.
- Document patient encounters, diagnoses, and treatment plans accurately in the EHR system.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop patient management strategies.
- Provide patient education and counseling regarding chronic disease management and preventative care.
- Respond to urgent patient inquiries via secure messaging channels in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all state nursing regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in telehealth, urgent care, or medical-surgical nursing.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, AthenaHealth).
- Strong computer skills and high-speed internet reliability required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients remotely.
