Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone and video triage assessments for patients presenting with diverse medical concerns
- Utilize clinical judgment to determine appropriate level of care and prioritize urgent cases
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care pathways
- Provide clear, compassionate health education and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and telehealth regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Minnesota
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience with ER or urgent care background preferred
- Valid BLS certification
- Proven expertise in clinical decision-making and triage protocols
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to de-escalate anxious patients
- Proficient with telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
