Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telehealth assessments and prioritize patient cases based on medical urgency
- Provide accurate clinical guidance and education to patients via phone and video consultations
- Collaborate with on-site providers to coordinate patient care and facilitate timely interventions
- Maintain detailed electronic health records while adhering to HIPAA compliance standards
- Manage high-volume call queues with exceptional efficiency and empathy
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and protocol updates
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State with minimum 2 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Proven ability to perform accurate triage assessments in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication skills and emotional intelligence for remote patient interactions
- Proficient with telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and clinical judgment skills
- Self-motivated with excellent time management for remote work success
