In this high-impact position, you will serve as the vital link between patients and the healthcare system. Using our secure telehealth technology, you will assess symptoms, provide expert medical guidance, and ensure patients receive the right level of care at the right time—all from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments via phone and secure messaging to evaluate symptoms, medical history, and current health status.
- Apply clinical judgment to triage patient needs, determining the appropriate level of care and providing immediate medical guidance.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately and promptly within the EMR system.
- Collaborate with physicians and care coordinators to resolve complex cases and ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient education and health coaching to empower individuals to manage their wellness effectively.
- Stay updated on the latest clinical protocols, telehealth best practices, and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri (or Compact State eligibility).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in triage, critical care, or emergency nursing.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) are required.
- Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and telehealth communication platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient empathy and clarity.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment while meeting productivity goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
