Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone triage assessments for patients across diverse demographics
- Utilize clinical judgment to prioritize cases based on urgency and acuity
- Provide clear, compassionate health education and self-care instructions
- Collaborate with providers to coordinate care for complex cases
- Maintain accurate documentation in EHR systems while adhering to HIPAA protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Support after-hours emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN # required)
- Minimum 3 years ER, urgent care, or telehealth experience
- BLS/ACLS certification with current credentials
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with EHR platforms and telehealth technology
- Strong communication skills with cultural competency
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with psychiatric triage preferred
