Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments via telehealth platforms
- Prioritize cases based on acuity using evidence-based protocols
- Provide clinical guidance and health education to patients
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams for complex cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all virtual interactions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA)
- Minimum 3 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
