Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls via telehealth platforms to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Provide accurate medical advice and guidance per established clinical protocols
- Document patient interactions comprehensively in EHR systems
- Collaborate with care teams to coordinate patient transitions and follow-up
- Educate patients on self-care, medication management, and preventive measures
- Manage high-volume call queues efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and data security protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia (required)
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience with 1+ years in triage/urgent care
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Advanced certification in telehealth or emergency nursing (e.g., TNCC, ENPC)
- Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity
- BLS/CPR certification required
