Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and promptly report any significant changes or abnormalities to the healthcare team.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure seamless and high-quality patient care transitions.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication regimens, and disease prevention strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date patient medical records in compliance with legal and hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Nursing.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
