Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems, needs, and physical, psychological, and social conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatment, documenting changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and home care instructions.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by following infection control standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (FL) and/or Ohio.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
