Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient treatment.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and responses to treatment accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin (WI).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated compassion and a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
