Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs with precision
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social engagements safely
- Engage clients in stimulating cognitive activities and companionship
- Maintain detailed care documentation and communicate with family members
- Implement emergency protocols and ensure home safety standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate client care plans
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional caregiving experience with seniors
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical care duties
- Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Passionate background check and TB screening
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
