Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and medication adherence while documenting care progress
- Engage clients in meaningful social activities and cognitive stimulation
- Transport clients to medical appointments and community events
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to create customized care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment
- Respond promptly to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience with seniors
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Clear background check and TB screening
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Compassionate demeanor with exceptional patience and empathy
- Reliable transportation for in-home visits
- Strong communication skills in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
