Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Administer medications and track vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Maintain detailed care records and communicate with families
- Implement individualized care plans with clinical oversight
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
- Clear background check and TB test
- Valid California driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Compassionate demeanor with patience and cultural sensitivity
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA preferred)
