Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful conversation and activities with clients.
- Meal Assistance: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Medication Reminders: Promptly remind clients to take prescribed medications at scheduled times.
- Household Support: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date care logs and incident reports.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments and social outings as required.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Licensure: Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health or personal care is a plus.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Genuine passion for helping the elderly and disabled.
