Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and groomingPrepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinator
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Light housekeeping and medication reminders
- Maintain detailed care notes and client records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Patience, empathy, and physical stamina
