Job Overview
The Senior Caregiver is responsible for providing personal care and companionship to clients in their own homes. We are seeking someone who is patient, attentive, and genuinely cares about improving the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and light exercise.
- Monitor client health status and promptly report any changes or concerns to the Care Manager.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and provide transportation assistance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in Pennsylvania is preferred.
- Previous experience in geriatric care, home health, or nursing is a plus.
- CPR and Basic First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.
