Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology and societal shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive innovations
- Produce strategic foresight reports and executive briefings
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops on future implications
- Partner with R&D to prioritize emerging technology investments
- Establish thought leadership through white papers and industry talks
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or related field
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of developing future-oriented strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, or Business
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning skills
- Strong communication with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects
