Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Technology & Society Horizon Scanning Framework
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Produce quarterly trend briefings for C-suite stakeholders
- Design scenario-planning models for 5-10 year strategic initiatives
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across departments
- Present visionary roadmaps at industry conferences and board meetings
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Deep expertise in AI, biotech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications
