Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts with 3-5 year impact
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate adaptation
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed foresight into product roadmaps and investment decisions
- Produce trend briefings and innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 partners and internal stakeholders
- Design and facilitate future-focused workshops with cross-functional teams
- Monitor global regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Build and maintain an expert network of futurists, technologists, and thought leaders
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate innovation, strategy consulting, or futurism
- Proven track record of developing actionable futures scenarios that influenced business strategy
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
- Ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations
