Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Maintain detailed care records and report health changes
- Coordinate with family members and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years professional home health aide experience
- Valid District of Home Care Aide certification
- CPR and First Aid certifications (current)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
- Background check and TB test clearance
- Experience with clients with dementia or mobility challenges preferred
