Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings under preceptor guidance
- Complete specialized training modules for hospital-specific protocols and EMR systems
- Participate in skills workshops and simulation-based competency assessments
- Collaborate with clinical mentors to develop critical thinking in diverse patient populations
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital regulatory standards
- Document care accurately using electronic health record systems
- Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds and case conferences
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California or compact state
- BSN degree or higher (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (new grads with externships accepted)
- Ability to adapt to new healthcare environments quickly
- Strong communication and documentation skills
