Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care based on medical urgency
- Provide accurate telephone triage for patients seeking emergency care
- Collaborate with physicians and ER staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Document patient encounters with precision in electronic health records
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and home management
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and emergency department protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities in high-pressure situations
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
