As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you'll ensure accurate and timely claim submissions while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. We provide extensive training on our proprietary billing software and offer a clear path to advancement into revenue leadership positions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies and government payers
- Resolve claim denials and appeals with 95%+ first-pass resolution rate
- Conduct thorough coding audits using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines
- Oversee patient account reconciliation and payment posting processes
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure documentation meets billing requirements
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports for leadership
- Stay updated on CMS regulations and payer policy changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA, EMTALA, and ACA compliance standards
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR systems
- Advanced analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred
- Experience with RCM analytics tools (e.g., QSI, Waystar)
