Responsibilities
- Accurately process prescriptions using pharmacy management software
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education
- Assist with immunizations and health screenings
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Train junior pharmacy technicians
Qualifications
- Active PTCB certification required
- 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Rx30)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting
- Georgia pharmacy technician license
- Basic math and computer skills
