Responsibilities
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness, and prepare medications for dispensing.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering stock, receiving deliveries, and stocking shelves.
- Assist the Pharmacist in the compounding of medications and sterile products.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and resolving concerns.
- Process insurance claims and handle payment transactions accurately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication profiles.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification (or eligible to obtain).
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician license.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software systems.
