Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments using Emergency Severity Index (ESI) protocols
- Coordinate with physicians to prioritize critical cases and allocate resources efficiently
- Implement triage protocols for diverse patient populations including pediatric, geriatric, and trauma cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation with 99% compliance
- Mentor junior nursing staff through our peer-to-peer development program
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and reduce wait times
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with minimum 3 years ED/trauma experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree (MSN preferred) from accredited institution
- Demonstrated proficiency in ESI triage methodology
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Strong interpersonal skills for high-stress communication
