Responsibilities
- Assess patients using ESI (Emergency Severity Index) protocols to prioritize care
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans for acute cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records in Epic systems
- Train junior staff on triage procedures and patient flow optimization
- Participate in hospital emergency response drills and process improvements
- Oversee patient admissions and discharge coordination
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license with 5+ years ER/Triage experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN or MSN degree preferred
- Proven ability to make critical decisions under pressure
- Expertise in ESI scoring and emergency protocols
- Strong leadership skills with mentorship experience
