Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social outings, or shopping trips.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Previous experience in home health or personal care is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- A compassionate, patient, and patient-centered attitude.
