Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Assist with mobility support and transfer techniques using proper body mechanics
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote cognitive and emotional well-being
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and empathy for vulnerable populations
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Knowledge of senior care best practices and dementia support
