Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and treatment administration
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and inventory supplies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain accurate patient records
- Support patients' emotional well-being through active listening and reassurance
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or acute care setting
- CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills with ability to document accurately
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
