Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers using proper safety protocols
- Support medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Report changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear TB test and physical examination within last 6 months
- Excellent communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
