Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, reporting any changes immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and code blue alerts.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (FL) or Georgia (GA).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients as necessary.
- Commitment to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
