Responsibilities
- Delight residents with personalized assistance for daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Accurately document resident vitals and care observations in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nurses to implement individualized care plans
- Respond promptly to resident calls and overnight emergencies
- Maintain a clean, safe environment through proper infection control protocols
- Assist with meal service and monitor nutritional intake
- Support end-of-life care with dignity and respect
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Passionate about geriatric care and overnight service
- Reliable transportation for varied shift schedules
