Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, health conditions, and resident activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of adaptive equipment
- Administer medications and treatments as per care plans
- Collaborate with nursing staff on resident care plans and updates
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency situations
- Support a clean, safe, and homelike environment
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or geriatric settings
- Valid CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am)
