Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive phone and in-person assessments to determine patient acuity and prioritize care needs.
- Evaluate symptoms, review medical history, and provide appropriate medical advice or triage instructions.
- Document all patient interactions and clinical findings accurately and timely in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to facilitate seamless care transitions.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
- Manage high-volume patient queues efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for Emergency Department or Triage experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
