Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, bathing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and administer prescribed medications accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate health changes to families
- Implement customized care plans with empathy and professionalism
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Clear background check and TB test results
- Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish fluency a plus)
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
