Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce infection control protocols
- Handle surgical equipment and ensure proper sterilization
- Document surgical cases accurately and maintain inventory
- Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience in specialty surgery
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing and surgical instruments
