Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with focus on assessment, intervention, and evaluation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols and state regulations
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely using electronic health records (EHR)
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient safety protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs and care coordination
- Adhere to all facility policies and nursing standards of practice
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required (PALS preferred)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare systems
