Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with advanced surgical equipment and sterile supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures with precise instrument handling and equipment management
- Maintain strict sterile techniques and infection control protocols
- Manage surgical inventory and equipment sterilization processes
- Document procedural details accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize surgical workflows
- Provide immediate support during emergency situations
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credential required
- Minimum 2 years of recent surgical tech experience
- Proficiency in operating advanced surgical equipment (e.g., endoscopic, robotic systems)
- Strong knowledge of sterilization protocols and equipment maintenance
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current BLS certification
